KTM’s stunning 990 Adventure has a new, limited edition stablemate – the 990 Adventure ‘Dakar Edition’.

Built to commemorate both 30 years of the Paris-Dakar race and the Austrian firm’s 10th successive victory in the desert classic, the new version blends the standard 990 Adventure chassis with the uprated Adventure R’s 115bhp engine plus a range of cosmetic updates including orange engine bars, Dakar-style velour seat and special Dakar-inspired blue/orange paintjob.

It’s priced midway between the standard and R versions, too – at £9745 compared to the stocker’s £9545 and the R’s £9995.
